filefront final

http://hosted.filefront.com/jessecheung/

I tried redoing the textures from scratch and re applying them onto the model, but it didnt seem to want to load when I uploaded my file from filefront again, and some of the files didn't work at all, so i deleted the ones that didn't work, there should be one working file that is there now.

Jesse,

I found this map first and foremost interesting. The shape of the outside building is reminiscent of a space port. The rounded edge of the building in conjunction with the stagged inversed stair feel is symbolic of everything that Hawkings challenges. While Hawkings challenges his fate, his challenge to his greatest nemesis, the "stair", is represented by an interesting architectural design.

Although it was not part of the prerequisites of this assignment, I find it very reasonable (and quite skillful) that you have implemented the use of lifts.

The colour taint of the architecture creates an uneasy feeling, one which resonates well with your "theme word" - gamble. This green, connects with the blue of the datum, then the red in a, somewhat constrasting manner which accentuates the "impact" of the rawness of the interior space.

For Nightingale's space, themed "fear" to be contain such dark spaces, evil symbols such as the dragon head, the violent suggestion of the fire nova is symbolic of her greatest challenge; the failing life of her many patients.

Finally, the strange play on expectations is recieved well once the ascension to the peak of the interior space is reached. The questions: What is up here, what will I see, what fears will I face, are all asked. Instead, you are faced with nothing but a dark shadowy area overwhelmed by the furnace; a perfect reference to the most final act in death, cremation.

The total effect of the map is nothing happy, nothing pleasant. It is a map entirely dedicated to the darkness of humans, represented quite well in a series of dark and ominous architecture.
